Six departments jointly issue the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan for the Protection of Soil, Groundwater, and Agricultural and Rural Ecological Environment".

The Ministry of Ecology and Environment and five other departments jointly issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for Soil, Groundwater, and Agricultural Rural Ecological Environment Protection". The plan deploys five tasks, including strengthening risk control of construction land, enhancing ecological environment protection of agricultural land, deepening coordinated prevention and control of groundwater pollution, promoting the construction of beautiful rural areas, and improving governance efficiency. The plan arranges major projects such as the source control project for soil pollution, and the special treatment project for soil pollution in chemical industrial land within 1 kilometer along the river, as well as conducting the second national survey on soil pollution and the national assessment of groundwater pollution.
