Hong Kong third quarter business outlook survey: 10% have positive expectations, 14% have deteriorating expectations.

According to the Wise Financial APP, on July 17th, the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department released the results of the business outlook survey for the third quarter of 2026. The survey shows that 10% of respondents expected an improvement in business conditions for the third quarter of 2026 compared to the previous quarter, slightly down from 11% in the second quarter; while the percentage of respondents expecting a deterioration in business conditions decreased from 16% in the second quarter to 14% in the third quarter.
