Baicheng Pharmaceuticals: Subsidiary 2's improved new drug Labetalol sustained-release granules have obtained a drug registration certificate.
Bai Cheng Pharmaceuticals announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang Saimo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has recently received the drug registration certificate issued by the National Medical Products Administration for a new type of modified drug called Levetiracetam Sustained-Release Granules, which is classified as Class 2.2. This drug is approved for adjunctive therapy in patients aged 12 and above with partial seizures caused by epilepsy. Compared to the already marketed formulations, these sustained-release granules are more suitable for children and patients with swallowing difficulties. Currently, this drug has not been marketed yet, and its approval for production and sale or uncertainties may not significantly impact the company's performance in the near future.
