On July 15, 2026, the Governor of the People's Bank of China, Pan Gongsheng, met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Najee Isabell Kassim. The two sides exchanged views on the current economic and financial situation, as well as economic and financial cooperation between China and Libya.
