The government has appointed members to the Elderly Commission.

According to the Wisdom Finance app, the Hong Kong government announced today (July 17) that Dr. Leung Kwok-tung has been reappointed as the chairman of the Elderly Commission, and Professor Lai Wing-leung and Wei Shicheng have been appointed as members of the commission. At the same time, Professor Mok Ka-ho has been appointed as the new vice chairman of the commission and Yan Hsu Yuk-shan as a new member. Their term of office will take effect from July 30, 2026, for a period of two years.
