Chongqing Pengshui mountain collapse has rescued 8 people

At 9:08 on July 17th, a sudden mountain collapse occurred in Hanjia Street, Pengshui County, Chongqing, causing multiple residential buildings below to collapse. After preliminary verification, around 8 o'clock on the 17th, community grid staff discovered scattered falling rocks and immediately issued an emergency warning. The local authorities quickly organized over 60 people to safely evacuate. By 11:38, 8 trapped individuals had been rescued and immediately sent for medical treatment, with no life-threatening injuries reported. Currently, search and rescue operations are ongoing.
