In the first half of the year, France's electricity exports reached 51 terawatt-hours, setting a new record high.

The report released by the French electricity grid operator RTE on Thursday showed that France's net electricity exports reached 51 terawatt-hours in the first half of the year, an increase of 36% compared to the same period in 2025, and 19% higher than the previous historical record set in 2024.
