Greebo: Wholly owned company recalls Kobalt brand 24V and 48V garden electric tools.

Greebo announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Greenworks Tools, received a notice from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to recall certain Kobalt brand garden power tools sold at Lowe's stores and website from January to May 2026, due to the battery packs not being charged as instructed or causing a short circuit. No losses have been reported so far, and most of the updated products have resumed sales. The company will bear the cost of the recall, which is currently undetermined as the announcement has just been issued, and has purchased recall insurance, so compensation is pending.
