Modern Automobile Group will turn Boston Dynamics into a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Modern Motors Group announced on July 16 that it will acquire nearly 10% stake in Boston Dynamics, which is currently held by SoftBank, turning the latter into a wholly-owned subsidiary. The group stated that this move will help them deploy advanced robot technology in various businesses. Earlier reports suggested that the value of this transaction is estimated to be nearly 500 billion Korean won.
