The Hong Kong and Macao Research Center is officially unveiled.

On the morning of July 15th, the Central Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences held a plaque unveiling ceremony for the Hong Kong and Macao Research Center in Beijing, and released relevant research results. The Hong Kong and Macao Research Center is a research platform established with the support of the Central Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office to actively leverage the national high-end think tank role and comprehensive research advantages of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The center aims to strengthen research, interpretation, and promotion of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on Hong Kong and Macao work, actively construct the theoretical foundation and academic discourse system of "one country, two systems," conduct in-depth research on major issues such as the high-quality development of Hong Kong and Macao, continue to narrate the success stories of "one country, two systems," and provide theoretical support, intellectual and talent support for promoting the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macao, supporting their better integration into and service for the overall development of the country.
