CHINA NEW ENERGY (01156.HK) completes placement of a total of 118 million shares, raising approximately 19.59 million Hong Kong dollars net.

Intelligence Finance APP News, CHINANEWENERGY (01156.HK) announced that all conditions set out in the placement agreement have been met, and the placement was completed on July 15, 2026. According to the terms and conditions of the placement agreement, the placement agents have successfully placed a total of 118 million shares placing price of 0.173 Hong Kong dollars per share to no less than six underwriters, equivalent to approximately 16.67% of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company following the completion of the placement. The placing price of 0.173 Hong Kong dollars was determined based on the market price of the shares at the time and negotiated by the Company and the placement agents on a fair basis, representing a discount of approximately 15.61% from the closing market price of 0.205 Hong Kong dollars reported by the Stock Exchange on the date of the placement agreement.
