According to the report by Yonhap News Agency on the 15th, on the first day of SK Hynix's American Depositary Receipt (ADR) listing on the NASDAQ, individual investors from South Korea bought approximately 400 billion Korean won worth. SK Hynix ADR began trading on the NASDAQ on the 10th, and on the same day, about 84,000 investors bought the stock through nine major securities companies in South Korea. South Korean investors held a total of 1.36 million shares on that day, accounting for 0.76% of the total of 177.9 million shares issued. Based on the issue price, the value of these holdings is approximately 3.389 trillion Korean won. If the number of South Korean investors expected to purchase the stock, who were not included in the statistics, is close to 100,000, the total holdings will reach approximately 400 billion Korean won. The strong demand from South Korean individual investors is also reflected in the domestic stock market. On the 10th, individual investors in the South Korean stock market net bought 78,851 shares of SK Hynix for approximately 1.7 trillion Korean won.
