New rebuttal of the ruling on the South China Sea arbitration case released.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the so-called "South China Sea Arbitration Award" unilaterally initiated by the Philippines. Over the past 10 years, the illegality and absurdity of the "South China Sea Arbitration Award," as well as the damage it has caused to the relationship between China and the Philippines and to the regional situation, have been fully exposed, and it is urgent to completely eliminate its harmful effects. This morning, the South China Sea Security Roundtable Dialogue opened in Hong Kong, during which the "New Rebuttal of the South China Sea Arbitration Award" report was released. Legal representatives, experts, and scholars from different countries and regions attended the event. This release of the "New Rebuttal of the South China Sea Arbitration Award" once again revealed the major errors in legal interpretation and application, factual determination, and evidence acceptance in the so-called "South China Sea Arbitration Award," allowing relevant countries within and outside the region to recognize the nature and harm of the "award." At the same time, it also demonstrates that China's refusal to accept any claims or actions based on the "award" is precisely a just and legitimate act to uphold its own rights and claims in the South China Sea, defend peace and stability, and uphold the rule of international law.
