The Chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission of South Korea called for asset management companies to strengthen their management of ETFs.

According to a statement from the Financial Supervisory Service of South Korea, its head is calling on the country's asset management companies to take on greater responsibility for ETF products. Director Lee Chan-jin met with the CEOs of 20 asset management companies and the head of the Korea Financial Investment Association on Monday. Lee Chan-jin stated that as the ETF market rapidly expands, the responsibility of asset management companies is increasing, and he urges these companies to ensure the accuracy of investment information when promoting such products. Lee Chan-jin also reminds asset management companies to closely monitor tracking errors and differences between their products and LP companies.
