In the West, the increase is significant, and the peak consumption season is driving up the e-commerce logistics index in June.
The China Logistics and Purchasing Federation released the China E-commerce Logistics Index for June today. The peak season for consumption drove the e-commerce logistics index to further increase, with all relevant indices on the supply side experiencing a comprehensive rebound. By region, the western region saw the most noticeable increase. In June, the China E-commerce Logistics Index was 111.4 points, an increase of 0.4 points compared to the previous month. Comparing the nine sub-indices to the previous month, they all showed varying degrees of rebound. Specifically, the total business volume index for e-commerce logistics continued to rise. In June, the total business volume index for e-commerce logistics was 128.6 points, an increase of 0.3 points from the previous month. Looking at it regionally, the central region was significantly affected by high temperatures and heavy rain, resulting in a decrease of 0.3 points in the environment, while the total business volume index for e-commerce logistics in other regions showed some rebound. Among them, the western region saw an increase of 1.3 points in the environment, with the most significant increase.
