At around 23:20 on the 11th, Typhoon "Bavi" made landfall in Kanmen, Yuhuan, Taizhou, Zhejiang. It made a second landfall in Qingjiang Town, Leqing on the 12th around midnight. In the morning of the 12th, Liu Jie, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, presided over a meeting of the Provincial Defense Command to discuss and deploy defense work against Typhoon "Bavi".
