Beijing Downgrades to issue geological disaster meteorological risk yellow warning

On July 12, 2026 at 13:00, the Beijing Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission, in conjunction with the Municipal Meteorological Bureau, downgraded and issued a yellow alert for geological disaster meteorological risks. From 14:00 on July 12 to 14:00 on July 13, there is a higher risk of collapse, landslide, and ground subsidence in Miyun and Pinggu districts of Beijing. Risk of collapse, landslide, and ground subsidence are also present in Fangshan, Mentougou, Changping, Yanqing, Shijingshan, Haidian, Fengtai, and Huairou districts.
