Typhoon "Bavi" is expected to make landfall around midnight today in the area from Cangnan to Sanmen in Zhejiang.

According to Zhejiang Weather, Typhoon No. 9, "Bavi", has strengthened into a strong typhoon at 00:00 today. At 06:00, its center was located about 581 kilometers away from the coast of Wenzhou in the ocean, at 24.4 degrees north latitude and 124.9 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center was 14 levels, the minimum central pressure was 955 hPa, the radius of 7-level winds was 480-500 kilometers, the radius of 10-level winds was 280-350 kilometers, and the radius of 12-level winds was 110-120 kilometers. "Bavi" will move rapidly northwest at a speed of 30-35 kilometers per hour, gradually approaching the central and southern coastal areas of Zhejiang Province. It is expected to make landfall in Cangnan to Sanmen overnight tonight, and then continue to move northwest with gradually weakening intensity. The typhoon is expected to move out of the province around the evening of the 12th.
