According to media reports, Israel should limit military operations in Lebanon at the request of the United States.
According to the report by the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation on the 10th, at the request of the United States, the Israeli government has ordered the military to temporarily suspend "sensitive" military operations in southern Lebanon. The report stated that this instruction will remain in effect until further notice, depending on the development of the situation between the United States and Iran, as well as progress in negotiations between Israel and Lebanon. The report said that the United States is currently busy with military confrontation with Iran and is concerned that Israeli actions could further escalate the situation. The report quoted an Israeli security official as saying that the Israeli military is currently being asked by the United States to exercise restraint. The report also stated that the Israeli military is expected to begin withdrawing from two areas within the so-called "security zone" in southern Lebanon as early as next week. This withdrawal arrangement is part of a framework agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon in late June this year in Washington, DC. Meanwhile, both sides are expected to resume negotiations in the Italian capital, Rome, next week.
