Hong Kong Department of Health: Hong Kong actively implements the Greater Bay Area integration and development strategy to promote innovative cross-border medical cooperation.

According to the WiseNews Financial APP, on July 10th, Professor Sophia Chan, Secretary for Food and Health of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, stated at a meeting of the Legislative Council Health Committee that the Hong Kong SAR Government has, in recent years, actively implemented strategies to promote the integration and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area while adhering to the premise of benefiting the medical and health development of Hong Kong and the Mainland. With the support of various national ministries and cooperation from provinces and cities, the government has used the Chinese University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Hospital (CUHK Shenzhen Hospital) as a flagship experimental platform to implement various important cross-border medical cooperation measures.
