This morning, at the opening ceremony of the 18th Suzhou International Elite Entrepreneurship Week and the 3rd Suzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Conference, the construction of Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center Suzhou Key Support Point officially started. Suzhou also released the "Several Measures on Promoting Shanghai-Suzhou Talents Collaborative Development and Integrating into the Construction of Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center". The 9 specific measures released this time focus on accelerating the construction of a talent development ecosystem in the same city from four aspects. Firstly, linking the construction of talent highlands, actively absorbing the radiating effect of Shanghai's high-level talent highlands, establishing a regular communication mechanism, and coordinating to solve key problems in cross-regional talent flow, policy connection, and resource integration. Secondly, promoting mutual recognition of talent evaluations, directly recognizing qualifications and continuing education hours assessed by relevant departments in Shanghai when determining talent and applying for projects in Suzhou; implementing a mutual recognition system for work permits for foreigners coming to China, and exploring a non-consensual talent recommendation mechanism across regions. Thirdly, sharing talent service resources, jointly building a comprehensive talent service system for Shanghai-Suzhou, promoting the "one-port service" and "cross-domain service" of talent service matters. Fourth, jointly attracting and utilizing talents, linking well in entrepreneurship competitions, project negotiations, exchange docking and other activities, encouraging high-level talents to work in both places in project-based or dual-employment manner; promoting the cross-regional establishment of innovative alliances by leading companies in both places, operating a high-level "hundreds of schools and thousands of enterprises" alliance, jointly holding "Suzhou Campus Day" activities with Shanghai universities, and accurately connecting students with internships and employment opportunities.
