Recently, Tianjin is facing a large-scale heavy rainfall process due to the impact of Typhoon "Bavi". It was learned from the Tianjin Water Bureau on the 10th that the local water management department had initiated a level 2 emergency response to flood and waterlogging disasters on the evening of the 9th. They have strengthened water monitoring coordination, preemptively prepared storage space, implemented levee inspections and defenses, strengthened localized flood prevention measures, and made preparations to defend against Typhoon "Bavi" to ensure the safety of flood control. In terms of water monitoring and early warning, Tianjin has held multiple joint meetings with meteorological, water resources, Haihe River Water Conservancy Commission, and other departments to share real-time hydrological monitoring data. They have fully utilized the "three lines of defense" of rainwater monitoring and forecasting, with 6 rainfall radar units monitoring "cloud rain" around the clock, 138 rainfall stations, 96 hydrological stations, 208 water level stations monitoring "ground rain" and "river water", 80 sets of drones, unmanned boats, and over one hundred hydrological survey team members on standby at all times.
