North Korean Prime Minister Pak Pong Ju arrives in Beijing to begin his official visit.

Prime Minister Park Tae-sung's visit to China this time will last for three days, during which he will attend the 65th anniversary commemoration event of the signing of the "Sino-Korean Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance Treaty." The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that China is willing to work together with the DPRK, guided by the important consensus of the top leaders of the two parties and two countries, to strengthen strategic communication, enhance exchanges and cooperation, and promote the continuous development of the traditional friendship and cooperation between China and the DPRK.
