Since the start of the summer railway operation on July 1st, the cumulative number of passengers sent by the national railway has exceeded 1 billion.

According to China Railway Corporation, since the start of the summer travel season on July 1st, a total of 123.663 million passengers have been transported by the national railway network as of the 9th. The flow of passengers is relatively concentrated in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Chengdu-Chongqing region. The Chengdu Railway Bureau has transported over 10 million passengers, a significant increase compared to the same period last year. To cope with the upcoming peak travel season, from today to the 12th, 11 additional high-speed trains will be operating at night, covering key cities in North China, Central China, South China, Northwest China, and Southwest China.
