Accident occurred when the Zambian Vice President's helicopter took off, but all occupants on board are safe.

On the 9th local time, the Zambian government announced that a Zambian Air Force helicopter had an accident when taking off in Nachanga Province earlier that day. Fortunately, Zambian Vice President Mutale Nalumango, who was on board the helicopter, along with other passengers, were all safe and sound. After the accident, Nalumango was taken to a nearby medical facility for examination and has since been discharged in good health. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
