"Bavi" approaches, Fujian will increase typhoon emergency response to level 3.
This year's ninth typhoon "Bawee" is gathering strength and approaching the eastern coast of China. The Fujian Provincial Meteorological Bureau raised the "typhoon warning" to level three on July 9 at 17:00. According to relevant regulations, the Fujian Provincial People's Government Flood Control and Drought Relief Command will raise the emergency response to level three at 17:00 on July 9. Meteorological monitoring shows that Typhoon "Bawee" will land or brush past the northern part of Taiwan on the day of July 11, and land along the coast of Fujian and Zhejiang on the night of July 11. "Bawee" will bring strong winds, waves, tides, and rain to Fujian. According to the meteorological department's forecast, from July 10 to 12, there will be heavy to severe rain in the central and northern parts of Fujian, with locally torrential rain. As Typhoon "Bawee" approaches, various departments in Fujian are mobilizing to solidly carry out various tasks related to typhoon defense, making every effort to ensure safety and minimize losses.
