On the 9th, the first high-altitude brain-computer interface clinical application center in Tibet was officially established at the People's Hospital in Lhasa, marking an important step for Tibet in using cutting-edge technology to address difficult neurological disorders. It was reported that relying on the first standardized brain-computer interface consultation and evaluation outpatient clinic in Tibet, the People's Hospital in Lhasa integrates the advantages of multiple disciplines such as neurosurgery, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, and medical imaging. It is jointly promoted by Beijing medical aid experts and a local multidisciplinary team from Tibet, applying brain-computer interface technology to provide screening and evaluation, program development, postoperative rehabilitation, and other precision diagnosis and treatment services for patients with brain hemorrhage, brain ischemia, brain trauma, spinal cord injury, and peripheral nerve damage.
