Shanghai introduces nine reform measures to lead and test the inspection and testing certification field.

Opinions on carrying out pilot projects in the field of inspection and testing certification in Shanghai were officially released recently, focusing on institutional innovation, enhancing quality brands, upgrading industrial quality, and international mutual recognition cooperation. Nine reform measures have been introduced to further strengthen Shanghai's role as a node in the global testing and certification network. In terms of specific tasks, Shanghai will cooperate with the EU and countries participating in the Belt and Road initiative to study cooperation and mutual recognition mechanisms in standard certification organizations, break through technical and regulatory barriers for key export products, explore new mutual recognition paradigms such as "one inspection and certification, multiple recognitions or multiple certifications", and solve problems such as increased time and economic costs for enterprises due to repeated testing and multiple certifications, reduce export costs, and promote trade facilitation.
