Hainan: Depositors can apply for one withdrawal of housing provident fund each year to pay for property fees of any self-used housing property owned by the family in Hainan province.

The Housing Provident Fund Management Bureau of Hainan Province has issued a notice on the extraction of housing provident fund for payment of property fees. The notice specifies that depositors can apply to extract their housing provident fund once a year to pay for the property fees of any self-occupied housing owned by their family in Hainan Province. Self-occupied housing does not include self-built houses, commercial properties such as shops, office spaces, and property-type hotel rooms. It is worth noting that if the depositor's family has an unsettled housing provident fund loan in the province, they must meet the condition of having enough balance in their own and their spouse's accounts to repay the loan for 3 months after applying for the extraction of property fees.
