The President of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde, has indicated that she does not rule out leaving her current position early to enter the French political arena. "It is possible," she said in an interview with "Le Figaro" when asked if this was also an option if uncertainties were to disappear, "I believe that the voice of Europe needs to be heard in the debates among French presidential candidates."
