TrendForce: Storage prices in 3Q26 supported by AI servers, but pressure from the consumer end is increasing, leading to a narrowing of price hikes.

According to the latest storage price survey by TrendForce, the overall DRAM landscape will continue to be extremely tight in the third quarter of 2026, but due to downward adjustments in consumer-level application demand and the high base period effect, the increase in contract prices is converging, with a quarterly growth of 13-18% expected. The main demand for NAND Flash is still supported by AI reasoning and large-scale data center construction. However, as contract prices have reached historical highs, consumer-side customers have reached their limit in price tolerance in the case of slowing demand, with the overall NAND Flash contract price estimated to increase by 10-15% per quarter, a significant reduction compared to previous quarters.
