The Cyberspace Administration of China issues a notice on launching a special campaign to rectify the chaos of online entertainment live broadcasting.

To strengthen the governance of entertainment live streaming platforms, the Cyberspace Administration of China has launched a two-month special operation called "Clear and Clean - Crackdown on Chaos in Online Entertainment Live Streaming" nationwide. During the special operation, the focus will be on addressing the following six types of issues in the governance of entertainment live streaming platforms: improper registration and use of live streaming accounts, improper competition and incentivized tipping between live streaming platforms or members, improper use of live streaming gameplay to induce tipping, vulgar and harmful content in live streaming scenes, infringement of the rights of minors by live streaming platforms, and mismanagement by MCN institutions of live streaming platforms.
