China Meteorological Administration: The tropical depression in the South China Sea has strengthened this morning and has become the 10th typhoon of the year, named "Meisak". As of 5 o'clock in the morning, its center was located in the sea area of the western South China Sea, approximately 155 kilometers southeast of Wanning County, Hainan Province. Its coordinates are 17.2 degrees north latitude and 110.5 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is 8 levels, with the minimum central pressure of 998 hPa. The radius of the wind circle at typhoon level is 90-110 kilometers.
