Hebei Province initiates Level IV emergency response to major meteorological disasters.

Hebei Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued an orange high-temperature warning signal at 16:05 on July 1, 2026: It is expected that on the 2nd during the day, the highest temperatures in most areas south of Baoding, Langfang can reach 36-39C. It is expected that on the 3rd and 4th, the highest temperatures in the southern part of Zhangjiakou and most areas south of Baoding, Langfang can reach 35-39C, with local highest temperatures in Baoding, Shijiazhuang, Hengshui, Xingtai, Handan and other areas exceeding 40C. Therefore, the provincial meteorological disaster prevention command department will launch a level IV emergency response to major meteorological disasters at 11:00 on July 2. Relevant departments are requested to closely monitor this high-temperature weather process, strengthen risk assessment and safety hazards investigation, timely activate corresponding emergency responses, and do a good job in prevention and response work.
