Former Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces announces candidacy, challenging Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israeli Integrity Party leader and former Chief of Staff of the Defense Forces, Gadi Eisenkot, officially announced on June 30th the start of his parliamentary campaign. Polls show that the Integrity Party's support is close to that of the Likud group led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
