Senyonda Group appoints Tan Hengde as CEO.

On July 1st, Syngenta Group announced that its board of directors has appointed Tan Hengde as the Chief Executive Officer, effective from August 1st, 2026. Tan Hengde currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Seed Business, and will succeed Jeff Rowe. Jeff Rowe will continue in his current position until August 1st, before returning to the United States after nearly 10 years of service to the company. Tan Hengde will be based at the company's headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, where he has been stationed since January 2023. Since 2020, he has been a member of the Syngenta Group's management team and has held senior positions in business, finance, human resources, and global operations. During his tenure, he has served as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and President of Syngenta Group China.
