On June 30th, Tesla pushed out the FSDV14Lite update to HW3 vehicles, starting with early access program users and expanding to a wider range in the coming weeks. When inquiring about whether vehicles with HW3 hardware in China will support the upgrade of related driver assistance features in the future, customer service on Tesla's official website replied that currently Tesla's driver assistance features are only compatible with some models equipped with AI4 hardware. "Model S, Model X, 2020-2024 Model Y, and some current Model 3 models equipped with AI4 hardware have been opened for adaptation, while adaptation for current Model Y and Model YL is not yet available. Currently, Tesla is actively preparing for driver assistance software according to the relevant regulations issued by the country in recent years," the customer service representative said. This means that although HW3 vehicles overseas have started receiving the FSDV14Lite update, it is still unclear whether HW3 vehicles in the Chinese market will also support the upgrade in the future.
