According to SMM data, the national refined copper production in June was 1562 tons, a decrease of 6.5% compared to the previous month; the cumulative production in the first half of the year was 9773 tons, an increase of 6.9% year-on-year. The main reason for the production decline is the maintenance of copper smelters and the suspension of production by some manufacturers. It is expected that there will be some recovery in production in July and August.
