Midday Review: The Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.08% in the morning, with more than 4500 stocks in the overall market gaining. Concepts such as refrigerants, poultry, securities, and IT were trending strong.

In the morning session, the three major A-share indexes showed mixed movements. As of the midday closing, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 1.08%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.41%, and the ChiNext Index fell by 0.39%; the northbound 50 index rose by 0.35%. The total turnover of the two stock markets in Shanghai and Shenzhen was about 2,419.64 billion yuan, an increase of about 315.19 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day. As of midday, there were 4,553 stocks rising and 931 stocks falling in the entire market, including 198 stocks hitting the daily limit up and 6 stocks hitting the daily limit down.
