The Xi'an to Shiyan high-speed railway officially opened for operation today.
It was learned from the China Railway Group that the Xi'an to Shiyan high-speed railway officially opened for operation today, with the Xi'an East Railway Station also being completed and put into use simultaneously. The high-speed railway passage from Xi'an to Wuhan is fully open, and the journey between Wuhan and Xi'an can now be achieved in as fast as 2 hours and 41 minutes. The Xi'an-Shiyan high-speed railway starts from Xi'an East Station, passing through Xi'an City in Shaanxi Province, Shangluo City, and Shiyan City in Hubei Province, and connecting to the already completed and operational Wuhan to Shiyan high-speed railway at Shiyan East Station. The total length of the line is 257 kilometers, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
