An oil well explosion in southwestern Venezuela injured 12 people.
According to a report from Venezuela on the 29th, a spokesperson for the Citizen Security Bureau of Apure State stated that an oil well in the state exploded that day, injuring 12 people. The incident occurred near the town of La Victoria, close to the border with Colombia. Residents near the site of the incident have been evacuated. The Citizen Security Bureau of Apure State stated that the explosion was caused by a "leak of combustible gas." As of now, the National Petroleum Company of Venezuela has not yet released any information on the matter.
