The data center operator Firmus, supported by Nvidia, will build an AI data center park in Indonesia. The company stated that the project will bring agreements worth up to $30 billion in the first six years. Australian company Firmus announced in a statement that it has entered into an eight-year cooperation agreement with Nvidia to build a dedicated Nvidia DSX AI factory park with a capacity of 360 megawatts in Banda, Indonesia; the island is located across the sea from Singapore. Firmus stated that this large data center project will be developed in partnership with DayOne, headquartered in Singapore. Firmus expects that in the first six years of cooperation, customer commitment orders will bring in revenues of $25 billion to $30 billion. The company stated that the agreement includes procuring up to 170,000 Nvidia AI graphics processors between 2027 and 2028, "placing the Banda Island park among the largest AI infrastructure development projects in the Asia-Pacific region".
