On June 29, the first solar thermal power station in Northeast China - the CGN Jixi Base 100,000-kilowatt solar thermal power station - was put into operation in Da'an City, Jilin Province. China has made a new breakthrough in the application of solar thermal power generation technology in high latitude and extremely cold regions.
