In 2025, the national cultural industry achieved operating income of 20,825.4 billion yuan, exceeding 2 trillion yuan for the first time and reaching a new historical high, with a growth of 8.8% compared to the previous year. The structure of the cultural industry continued to be optimized, with the cultural service industry playing a supporting role. In 2025, the cultural service industry achieved operating income of 12,305.2 billion yuan, an increase of 12.8% from the previous year; accounting for 59.1% of the total operating income of the cultural industry, an increase of 2.1 percentage points from the previous year; the contribution rate of the cultural service industry to the growth of operating income in the cultural industry was 82.7%. The cultural manufacturing industry, cultural wholesale and retail industry achieved operating income of 4,991.9 billion yuan and 3,528.3 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 0.6% and 8.0% from the previous year.
