Today, the first "Xining-Balkan" Central Asia freight train departed from the Shuangzhai Station of China Railway Qinghai-Tibet Group. This cross-border train, carrying 55 cars of containerized goods, travels through the Qinghai-Tibet, Lanzhou-Xinjiang and other main railway lines, crossing the provinces of Qinghai, Gansu, and Xinjiang, exiting through the Khorgos port, passing through cities such as Almaty in Kazakhstan, and finally arriving at the Agala Station in Turkmenistan, covering a total distance of 5420 kilometers and taking approximately 14 to 15 days to complete the journey. The operation of the train marks the further expansion of the cross-border logistics channel from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to Central Asia, further improving the international logistics layout network of Qinghai towards Central Asia and West Asia.
