On June 27th, Aurora Star Communication announced that they had successfully completed 72 hours of stable chaining in a certain mission. It is understood that Aurora Star Communication is a supplier of onboard laser communication terminal products. It is expected that they will deliver more than 100 laser communication terminals throughout 2026, with 100 of them entering orbit operation. Earlier this year, the company announced the completion of Series A funding round, with a funding amount of nearly 300 million RMB, which will mainly be used for the research and development iteration of new generation space laser communication products, construction of automated production lines, and upgrading of on-orbit technology verification capabilities.
