Venezuela's largest airport has partially resumed operations.

On the 27th local time, the Simn Bolvar International Airport in Maiqueta, Venezuela has partially resumed operations and is now receiving cargo flights carrying humanitarian aid supplies. Located in the state of La Guaira, near Caracas, the Simn Bolvar International Airport is Venezuela's largest and most important aviation hub. On the 24th local time, Venezuela experienced two strong earthquakes measuring above 7 on the Richter scale, resulting in numerous casualties. Following the earthquakes, the airport was closed and all flights were cancelled, leaving many passengers stranded.
