President Ren Hongbin attended the "Investing in Bangladesh" high-level investment seminar on June 25th. The seminar was held in Beijing, with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tarik Rahman attending and speaking, and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) President Ren Hongbin also attending and delivering a speech. Ren Hongbin stated that CCPIT is willing to work together with Bangladesh, guided by important consensus reached by the two countries' leaders, and utilizing platforms such as the China International Supply Chain Fair to enhance cooperation in areas such as the Belt and Road Initiative, to promote the expansion of bilateral trade, support Chinese companies in investing and operating in Bangladesh, help create achievements for Chinese and Bangladeshi businesses in mutually beneficial cooperation, and advance the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Bangladesh. The seminar was jointly organized by CCPIT, the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority, and the Bangladesh Embassy in China, with over 100 participants from the governments and business sectors of both China and Bangladesh.
