The first domestic full-stack robot operating system community based on open source Hongmeng has been launched.

According to the "Beijing Yizhuang" news, on June 25, the 2026 Open Atom Open Source Ecological Conference with the theme of "Empowering Industries with Open Source, Building a Future Eco-System" opened in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. The first domestic full-stack robot operating system open source community based on the open-source Hongmeng - M-Robots community, was officially launched. The M-Robots community will introduce capabilities such as distributed software bus, collective intelligence, and atomized services into the field of robotics, providing a unified operating system base for industrial robotic arms, humanoid, wheeled, composite, quadruped bionic, and other types of robots. This marks the beginning of independent innovation and industry governance in the domestic robot industry with an open-source grassroots community.
