India launches anti-dumping investigation into bilateral stretched nylon film involving China.

Recently, the Department of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that, in response to an application submitted by the Indian domestic company JPFL Films Private Limited, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on biaxially oriented polyamide film originating from or imported from China and Thailand. The Indian customs codes for the products in question are 39209219 and 39209299. The thickness of the products in question ranges from 12 microns to 30 microns. The dumping investigation period for this case is from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, and the injury investigation period includes the years 2022 to 2023, 2023 to 2024, 2024 to 2025, and January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
